"Let it Go Fiesta”

"Let it Go Fiesta with Tony” is under TDF (Tony Dance Fiesta LLC) and is not only a dance program that helps you physically by burning calories and keeping you fit, but it also helps you fight depression, it will encourage you to feel empowered and confident. This class will be dedicated especially to you, where you will laugh, and dance, without being judged.  This class is for everybody, gender, age, and shape… you will go at your own pace, just like you would in a nightclub or in a family party!

Tony Dancer DOES NOT use difficult dance steps or corchoreography that you have to memorize. As you move your body while dancing, you strengthen your heart, tone your muscles and improve your balance! If you hate to work out but love to dance…

Carrie began her yoga journey as a student at the University of Hawaii.  She has been studying and practicing yoga for many years and openheartedly seeks to share its myriad of benefits, wonders, and opportunities for self-understanding.  She has taught in various studios, college, and continuing education settings in Maine and Maryland.  Her teaching style may be eclectic as she draws from various traditions, including Iyengar, Kripalu, Astanga, and Hatha Vinyasa.  Carrie holds teaching certificates from both Kripalu (Lenox, MA) and Sundara (Brunswick, ME).

This is an excellent opportunity for newcomers to discover what yoga is all about, and for those seeking to refresh or deepen their practice. Drawing on several classical traditions, this class will offer a variety of asana and movements to guide students in a fully integrated Hatha practice.  Classes will include deep stretching and exercises to enhance flexibility and range of motion, as well as practice transitions and holds to increase stability and strength.  Classes will offer a variety of seated, prone, standing, balancing, inverted, and twisting postures, and may focus from time to time on a certain one for a better understanding of technique, alignment, modifications, and benefits.  Sessions begin with centering, end with guided meditation, and integrate pranayama throughout.  This class is 75 minutes.
